Celebrate Paddling with the 8-Miler in Tupper Lake

Join us on June 21, 2025, for an exhilarating race along the scenic waterways of Tupper Lake. Participants can take on an 8-mile course, paddling through picturesque landscapes and dynamic waters.

The race begins at the Town of Tupper Lake Boat Launch (Tupper Lake Rod & Gun Club) on Lake Simond Road, follows the Route 30 bridge, continues up the Raquette River to the Oxbow, and returns to the boat launch.

Registration is open, with entry fees covering race participation, awards, and a post-race BBQ. Don't miss this exciting day on the water!

Event Details

• Distance: 8 miles – A NYMCRA Points Race for Canoes and Kayaks
• Entry Fee: $30 (includes awards and post-race BBQ)
• Proceeds: Benefit the Adirondack Health Foundation's Heart Health Initiative

Classes:

• All New York Marathon Canoe Racing Association (NYMCRA) canoe and kayak classes
• Stand-up paddleboard (SUP) classes

• Check-in and registration: Starts at 9:00 a.m. 
• Race Start: 11:00 a.m.
